June 11th, 2009

This just in… After checking out our latest build of Fireteam Bravo 3 at E3,  and scoring some time with our new four-player cooperative mode, the good people over at IGN have awarded us the prestigious “Best of E3″ award in their PSP Best Shooter category, as well as a runner-up honorable mention in the Best Multiplayer Experience category (losing out only to the much beloved and established Gran Turismo). Kudos to our team for all their hard work getting the demo out in time for E3, and taking the time to show it off to the press. We’re feeling very proud right now! :)

“What’s better than killing terrorists with a silenced machine gun? How about doing it with three of your best friends? SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 packs a brand new campaign for you and your friends to tackle as part of a four-man SEALs crew. You can customize your weapon sets, craft squad attack plans, and so much more. “

Slant Six Outpaces the Competition

This weekend, a group of our hard working team members participated in the annual Vancouver Sun Run, a 10km race through our beautiful city with over 50,000 participants. Not only did we place FIRST in our division, beating out 118 other teams, but we placed tenth out of all the corporate teams that ran the race. The next time someone suggests that game developers are basement dwelling couch potatoes, perhaps you can suggest they take a look at our website. High performance game developers who can outrun you in the street.  Pretty impressive don’t you think?
