Q: What is the typical assessment process at Slant Six Games?
A: Upon application, your information (and demo reel if applicable) will be made available to our recruitment team. They will review this with the hiring managers of each team. They will compare your skills and experience with the requirements of the position for which you have applied as well as any other open or soon to be opened position(s). You will be contacted if you are selected for consideration and your information will be maintained in our database for future consideration.

Q: I’m an Art/Creative/Animation professional – do I need to submit a demo reel or portfolio with my application?
A: YES PLEASE! All Art/Creative/Animation professionals are required to submit a demo reel or portfolio with their application (cover letter and resume) to jobs@slantsixgames.com. Your demo reel should be no longer than 5 minutes and should ideally contain your newest and best work at the beginning including descriptions of the work and your responsibilities.

Online reels are preferred and the URL/online location can be provided during the application process, or provided in your resume. However, CD or DVD formatted reels can be forwarded to:

Q. How long will Slant Six Games keep my application and resume on file?
A: We will keep all applicant information on file for one year. Feel free to connect via LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook….so that we can keep in contact with you in case our situation changes.

Q: Does Slant Six Games relocate foreign workers, from outside Canada, to move to Vancouver BC?
A: Yes we will relocate candidates for specific positions. Slant Six Games has in-house Immigration and relocation specialists that will work with you (and your family) to make this complex process of picking up your life and relocating as painless as possible. Q: Does Slant Six Games offer co-op or intern programs for students?
A: We have been involved in several successful student programs with UBC, SFU and University of Waterloo. We do not have designated co-op and/or internship programs available.
