How long have you been honing your gaming craft?

Since I can remember (I have about 20 years under my belt…I'm getting old…I'm 28) I remember playing Intellivision with my Dad. When I was about 6 or 7 years old My Mom bought my Dad a NES for his birthday but I clamed for my own. 

What was the first crucial game that got you hooked?

When I was little I'd have to say it was Super Mario Bros. But on a more mature level I'd say it had to be SOCOM: US Navy Seals. I played SOCOM Day and Night. Lost all hours of time when I played. I played for hours on end. I knew it was time to go to bed when the sun started peeking through the window and I heard the birds singing. Many of days I went into school with no sleep! But it was all worth it! 

What are your preferred gaming platforms?

I've grown away from the Nintendo brand over the years; sticking with my Playstation and XBOX platforms. I'm a console player at heart, but I have to throw PC in there too.

Name your top 3 games of all time?

SOCOM: US Navy Seals, Everquest Online Adventures, World of Warcraft 

Describe your first SOCOM experience to us?

I went over to my friend’s house to play my newly picked up copy of SOCOM: US Navy Seals because I didn't have broadband at the time. I played my 1st game online and was hooked! I spent most of my summer over her house. I begged my parents to get broadband till I was blue in the face. 

What is your all time favorite SOCOM map & why? 

There are so many good ones- It’s really hard to pick just one! If I HAD to pick just one it would be Desert Glory. On SOCOM II, for my 10,000 kill I shot my Boyfriend (Now Husband) off of the hostage building with a shotgun. The whole clan of ours watched the event. Ahhhh the memories... 

If you could be any video-game character for a day, which would you be?

Since I'm female I should be something Like Lora Croft. But I'm not... lol I'm going to say any one of the Ninja Turtles. So I could kick some butt and eat some pizza! 

Besides gaming, what other hobbies & interests do you enjoy?

I love to cook, travel, design websites, designing graphics, play softball, cleaning (I'm kind of a neat freak) and drawing. 

If you could do anything, what would be your ideal job – real or fictional!

Honestly probably a video game tester; something to do with gaming as I enjoy it so much. It wouldn't be work... it would be fun, with a paycheck! 

What is your favorite retro game and why?

Street Fighter; When I was little my Dad would take me to the Arcade, I was only about 8 years old beating 21 year olds. They would get so mad and keep popping in quarter after quarter. My dad would just sit back and laugh that his little girl was better than all these guys. 

Tell us something nobody knows about you? 

I married my SOCOM clan mate.
