Confrontation is a 32 Player, online only title for the PlayStation® 3. The game was released in October of 2008 and immediately broke the PSN record for simultaneous users.
In December of 2009 we launched Cold Front, the premium DLC pack for Confrontation.
Including the Cold Front expansion, Confrontation offers 12 Multiplayer Maps and a robust set of community features including Clans and Tournaments.
SOCOM: Confrontation is available at major retailers (one version comes bundled with a bluetooth headset!) and can also be downloaded directly from the PlayStation® Store. The game is also supported by the SOCOM: Tactical Operations Centre, a dedicated space in PlayStation® Home for players to meet, strategize and unlock some great game content.
